Day 2 Newport Oregon

Today we got to go down to the beach with the pups.  They hadn't been down there in 6 months and they definitely remembered it.  They pulled us down the path the whole way.  Once we let them off leash, Bella went nuts running around like a crazy dog.  She nipped Mike in the leg and nipped at Talula.  They were the only dogs on the beach and we were the only people.  It was almost low tide, so we were able to walk far into the tide pool areas.  I got to touch a purple starfish and a couple of anemones but the beach terrain was a bit different than last year so I didn't get out as far as I wanted to.  I guess the winter storms change the layout of the beach with their powerful waves.  Interesting.  We also caught up with Roger and Judy across the street for a bit.  They are our role models for this lifestyle.  They have it all together and seem so happy and healthy.  They have been a big part of us getting to the point where we actually finally did this.  Tonight we went to Cobblestone for dinner and it was the same as it always was, which is always good when you are a regular somewhere.
