A Day Alone!

I am thinking that as time goes by the posts will become less and less, but for now I am just writing daily.  Sierra woke up and was worried about her bearded dragon and whether or not his light came on with the new timer they bought, so she wanted to go home earlier than planned.  After a 20 minute scare with the new car not going when it was in R or D, Sierra figured out it was a pin that Mike had removed because it looked weird.  Once he put it back in the car would go again.  I figured out it must be a theft-preventer thing for towed cars (?).  Yeah, we will go with that.  It was scary thinking we got a lemon that wouldn't go with only 1000 miles on it. 

They left and I took the dogs to the beach.  It was a bit chilly and windy, so after we did that, we came back and I laid down on the couch and turned on daytime TV and fell asleep.  I woke up, cleaned a little, watched 3 hours of Live PD and then went to bed.  It was a boring day but I got caught up on any sleep I missed.  Meanwhile, Mike reported that he and Sierra had to have walked 6 miles all over downtown Portland going to Hot Lips Pizza, the Waterfront, grocery store, gym, and to the girls' house to grab me some old beanies that Alexa could spare.  I wanted something for my head/ears when it is cold here.  Sounds like there was some good daddy/daughter bonding time happening which is always good.  The dogs, cat, and I were just lazy.
